Quality control works by running materials with known, stable values and checking whether the instrument produces results that fall within the expected range. If the QC behaves normally, you can trust patient results; if it doesn’t, you stop and troubleshoot.
WHAT IS QUALITY CONTROL (QC)
BUT in candy lab, we run our QC by picking a jelly bean out of bag. This is because QC can be random, sometimes it passes, and sometimes it fails!
RUN QC
Click on a Jelly bean - just know it is luck of the draw, sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you get a bad one.If your jellybean is good, then QC has passed and you are free to move onto any discipline of your choosing. If your jellybean is bad, then QC has failed and you must find the right one that indicates QC has passed.
